In 2022 I wrote a blog post about NYC headshot rates. The most surprising thing I found was the range of rates – it really does depend on the photographer: their specific experience, expertise, skills, equipment, and process, not to mention the very sexy “cost of doing business.”
So there isn’t one standard rate for NYC headshot photographers. We’re all different. And we arrive at our rates differently.
When choosing my rates, I factored in quite a bit – including my almost 17 years of experience. If you have questions about any of this, or if there’s a session type not covered below, don’t hesitate to reach out.
ACTOR HEADSHOTS
Actor headshots can be any number of looks. Starting with the 2-look session, the rate is $100 for each additional look. No time limit.
While I do not put restrictions on time, I estimate that it generally takes about 30 minutes per look. Read my blog post for more details about what is a “look” and how long a session might take.
Please note I only deliver fully retouched images (including full, web, and Instagram size). I do not deliver unretouched images.
Return clients receive $100 off any actor headshot session.
CORPORATE HEADSHOTS

MY STUDIO
“Corporate” headshots are simply headshots for a LinkedIn page, company website, or professional purposes. The above four people are not actors, but individuals who wanted great headshots to represent them professionally. (Also note that you do not have to wear a business suit!)
These above examples, and my rates listed here, are representative of my in-studio sessions only.
YOUR OFFICE
Corporate headshot sessions taken at a company office will be set at slightly different rates depending on the number of employees, number of images, etc.

Retouched images of your choosing in a 48-hour turnaround
Images with a border and your name for printing (optional)

EVENTS
$350 per hour of event
includes all post-processing
high-res edited images uploaded to private gallery
Includes birthday parties, cake smashes, baby showers, comedy shows, music performances, and more. All post-processing time is included in the rate. I take as many photos as I can and edit the best images for light, color, and composition. I deliver these high-res images digitally and/or upload them to a private gallery for viewing and downloading.
I can travel anywhere within Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and The Bronx. Suffolk, Nassau, Westchester, Rockland, and other nearby counties will require additional travel cost.
